Report about environmental conflicts
and issues in South-Eastern Europe

Ecological Society "Endemit" and the researches from the Institute of Environmental science and Technology (ICTA), Autonomous University Barcelona, have developed "A Study of Environmental Conflicts and Issues in South-Eastern Europe: Possible Collaboration between CSOs and Ecological Economists". This study is a part of the European Commission  FP7 Project "CSO Engagement in Ecological Economics" (CEECEC) with the main objective to learn and teach Ecological Economics with and for civil society organizations.

This Report on Environmental conflicts and issues in South-Eastern Europe depicts state of the environment in 6 countries (Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR Macedonia and Serbia) and compiles case studies on environmental conflicts from over 65 civil society organizations. Furthermore, this Study provides foundation for a discussion of possible opportunities for collaboration between ecological economists and CSOs in SEE.
